Saved By Grace

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
- Titus 3:4-7

I was in Appalachia recently, and in the midst of hundreds of people waiting in line to receive food for their families, one lady in particular was brought to my attention.

Not long ago, this woman had been involved in a detestable lifestyle. For years, her life spiraled out of control. She did unthinkable things—things too terrible for God to ever forgive...or so she thought. She eventually fled far from that lifestyle, but she confessed, “I don’t see how God can forgive me.”

There is no sin God’s love cannot forgive and no sinner beyond His love. No matter what you have done, He loves you. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.”

I prayed the sinner’s prayer with that woman and she cried as she was overwhelmed by God’s grace.

The world needs the timeless message of the Father’s grace. If you know His grace, go out and share this amazing message with the world so the world might also know of His love.
